This dress was inspired by the reflections of the delicate fabric and water on the bodies of soft women in renaissance and regency style Sapphic art pieces. I combined structured and organic elements when designing which resulted in a loose, bias cut gown of layered chiffon and reflective organza cinched together with a renaissance style corset made of structured coutil and delicate silk taffeta dupioni.
